GERMAN SCHOOL HURGHADA

The German School Hurghada consists of the nursery (ages 2 till 4 years), the pre school (ages 4 till 6 years) as well as the primary school and secondary school up to class 9 (starting from Sept. 2012). The school is growing every year one class up. It is planned to have the “German International Abitur” as the final examination.

The German School Hurghada is working without exception with highly qualified teaching staff, the school building is offering a pleasing learning atmosphere in all stages.
Due to the full day schedule of the school, it is time to approve the skills of the students individually.
The school restaurant with certified kitchen operation is offering three healthy meals, drinking water is availably the whole day. Fresh fruits are served with all meals.
In the academic year 2012/13 about 180 students are visiting the German School Hurghada, RED SEA HOTELS Egypts is one of the sponsors.

On Carneval Monday the DSH celebrated with lots of fun: the nursery and the pre school had a great party in the morning, in the afternoon the primary and secondary school students put on theirs costumes and made a funny polonaise and a great costume fashion show in school!

On 03rd of September 2012 the time had come: 25 excited first graders were eagerly waiting for the big day. 

Our principal Mr. Klein-Hitpass had the honor to welcome not only 25 excited students and their parents, but also the important visitors: Mr. de Silva, head of the Department of Arts and Culture of the German Embassy in Cairo, Mrs. Dr. Thiersch from ZfA office in Cairo and Mr. Ely, Vice-Consul in Hurghada attended to the enrollment ceremony. Mrs.Hashem, our head of Primary School led through the following program, which was accompanied by our music teacher, Mrs. Kurzeja with a colorful vocal program of the older students.

The school cornets were presented this year by the tutors of the first-graders: students of the 5th and 6th grade of our secondary classes.
