The Grand Bay at Sahl Hasheesh in the Red Sea - Opening 2014
A sweeping bay of golden coral sand, Sahl Hasheesh Bay is one of Egypt’s newest upmarket resorts. The name means "plain of grass" and probably harks back to the time of the sunken city hidden beneath the turquoise waters.
On entering Sahl Hasheesh today, you pass through gates that recreate the monuments of ancient Egypt, but rest assured that the hotels are brand new and up to date. This is now home to the latest development project for Red Sea Hotels, located in a prime position within the resort, consisting of 3 luxurious 5-star hotels, a Spa, aquapark, shopping mall, theatre, congress centre and a 18-hole championship golf course. The hotel architecture draws its inspiration from classical Egypt. Each hotel is different, with themes drawn from the mighty monuments of the Pharaohs to the intricate patterns and carvings of the Arabian era. As an added twist, arriving guests will transfer to their hotel aboard a traditional felucca. In fact you might be able to experience all of Egypt’s best bits without ever leaving the resort!

Red Sea Hotels has undertaken a project to construct a dream oasis in the southern Red Sea area, 300 km from Hurghada A natural park with nomadic camping tents, Nubian style 350 room resort with central swimming pool, championship golf course and a dessert village with more than 500 modern villas, all set in the untouched dessert area of Marsa Alam.
